Came down for my husband's BMT graduation, the parade was well done as well as getting to see him afterward for a few hours. Would recommend getting to base early as well as bringing cash since some of the food trucks do not take cards.

This story comes from the 322nd TRS graduation in June 2026. Air Force Basic Military Training graduation at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland spans two days. On Wednesday, families gather as the Reception Center opens at 6:00a, cheer the Airman's Run at 7:30a, and watch the Coin Ceremony at 9:30a, when each trainee officially becomes an Airman. On Thursday, the Graduation Parade at 9:00a (the Pass in Review) sends them off.
